As a little kid I used to cry even at the thought of my cat dying but now I'm pretty sure he's done his dash. He's seventeen, has renal problems to the point of requiring a 'science diet', needs bowls of warm water and reclines on a cat-sized electric blanket. It makes me sad to hear that your cat's not watching Buffy with you on the sofa anymore. Raph
"Toffee is playing with my cat Zeussy in cat heaven. They are catching mice and lying on newspapers and scaling trees to their heart's content."
And my Mumple is making stew for them (and my various rescued mice, birds and small animals), with a halibut liver oil capsule on the top, "for the bum". I miss her. :(
I tried leaving a comment the other day but blogger wouldn't let me. Honest.
I was going to say somethng about how my ex-housemates cat, Stumpy, died a couple of years ago at the age of 130 and I really loved him after just 2 years sharing house with him. Anyway Toffee and him should hook up. He/she'll know him by his magnificently restored tail.

I'm so so so so sorry.
Which isn't going to do much good, I know, but I feel it anyway. I lost my cat a few years ago after playing side by side for sixteen years. It SUCKS.

Life must surely move forward for you now? This is such bull shit. So much to cope with. It can only get better from here.
My thoughts are with you as always and my email is totally open to ranting or sobbing or whatever you would like to do to it.
